Mark Davis

“In a world as deeply financialized as ours, progressive and meaningful social change is possible by doing different, more responsible things with our money. FinTech provides us with a way of diverting our money away from mainstream financial institutions and so it has the potential to deliver social and environmental value to individuals and communities. I’m really excited to be able to share my insights with colleagues at FinTech North 2017 and to learn from others about the radical potential of FinTech to address the major challenges of the twenty-first century.” – Mark Davis, University of Leeds.
In their session at Fintech North Tania and Mark will explore the future of the pioneering alternative finance sector, which has its roots in peer to peer lending and crowdfunding.
