Whitecap was engaged to conduct commercial due diligence on Mojo Mortgages prior to external investment in the business by Maven/NVM in 2019. We reviewed Mojo’s commercial growth strategy in detail against the backdrop of the UK mortgage market and the opportunity for FinTech developments to impact the market. This included analysing market and technology developments in the intermediary mortgage sector. As part of this project, a number of senior stakeholders across the UK mortgage, lending and FinTech sectors were interviewed.

Relative Insight is a language analytics tool used by marketing teams and agencies across the globe to help them analyse and understand how different demographics communicate. Whitecap Consulting worked alongside Maven Capital Partners’ Manchester office, providing an independent commercial view of the investment opportunity ahead of Relative Insight’s $5 million Series A fundraise. Whitecap produced a Commercial Due Diligence report, including an analysis of the company in its current state and recommendations for next steps post-investment.
Delio is a white-label digital infrastructure tool for private asset companies. Delio enables private asset companies and investment banks to manage their portfolios, interact with their clients and run their day to day business digitally. Whitecap Consulting provided Maven Capital Partners with an external review of Delio’s commercial viability and potential post-investment. Whitecap produced a Commercial Due Diligence report addressing areas of concern ahead of Delio’s £3+ million fundraise.
