Whitecap has reported revenue growth of close to 50% for each of the last two financial years. This has been achieved through a combination of new clients and new projects from existing clients.
Recent client assignments have included strategy projects for regional building societies and a healthcare division of a facilities management business, digital transformation planning for a university, and commercial due diligence projects for corporate finance and PE firms.
Jeremy Thompson, Investment Director at Maven Capital Partners in Manchester comments:
“I’ve used Whitecap to provide commercial due diligence for recent investments across a range of sectors. They are very strategic and provide clear and practical advice, as well as being user-friendly and very cost-effective. Whitecap’s in-depth knowledge of revenue performance drivers and ability to frame these in clearly defined market context is particularly useful in assessing a business’ ongoing value potential.”
In September, the firm also expanded its regional presence by opening new satellite offices in Bristol and Newcastle to complement its office presence in Manchester, Milton Keynes and its head office, based in Leeds.
To support its ongoing growth plans, Whitecap has recently recruited two new team members.
Olivia Webster has joined as Business Development Director, based in Leeds, with a national remit to develop the firm’s client base. Olivia’s career to date has included roles with organisations such as Veritas Technologies, Adobe, Citrix and Sun Microsystems.
In addition, Eleanor Simmons has joined as a Consultant in the Manchester office, which is headed by Luke Freeman. Eleanor has relocated from London and joins from IMG, where she was most recently a Senior Marketing Manager working on several client projects.
Richard Coates, Managing Director, comments:
“I’m proud of what we have achieved over the last year, which has been our second successive year in which we have grown our revenues by nearly 50%. This growth has been achieved through a broad range of clients across multiple sectors, which gives us a solid foundation for future growth. We have recently taken the decision to further expand our team and our regional presence, and we plan to develop both as we look ahead.”
Whitecap supports clients who are typically located outside London, and helps established SMEs, growing mid-sized firms and divisions of corporate organisations to analyse, develop and implement growth strategies across multiple market sectors.
