The most in-depth and far-reaching report on the burgeoning FinTech sector in the West Midlands has been published by the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP).
The West Midlands FinTech Ecosystem report, commissioned by GBSLEP, is the forth report in 2020 series and provides the most detailed overview of the sector in the region to date. Accompanying significant in-depth analysis of the current state of the market, the report also outlines steps that can be taken to promote the continued growth of the sector.
Representing 6.2% of total UK FinTech GVA, the region has more than 7,625 active financial services and tech-sector firms, with over 120 businesses already active in the FinTech ecosystem around the city-regions.
