In his last role he focused on asset-backed lending across several sectors, working with start-ups, SMEs, and large corporates. A particular focus on renewable energy meant James financed biogas plants, solar projects, and electric vehicles. 

James has a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter and spent time working in the FMCG industry during a placement year. He also has an asset finance diploma from the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
